Any recommend website to buy connector for connect -AD1 option?
My smart motor model is sm23165D-CDS-AD1.
Can set analog input on AD1 option, right?
If PC analog output card is 0 to 10V, how to make animatics receive 24V for maximum speed?
Because animatics analog is 0 to 24V, even has scale function, it's unable make incoming 10V to 24V, right?

The 24V I/O will accept analog, but the resolution can't be changed. It may be better to run the 0-10VDC signal into one of the 5VDC I/O and suppress the analog output to stay in the range of 0-5VDC. This will give the best resolution which is 10-bit 0-5VDC.

What are you planning to control with the analog input?

Ok. I would recommend using one of the 5VDC inputs and clamping the 0-10VDC to not exceed 5VDC(through software/ladder control). Remember that you will only have 10-bit resolution, so you will only have a value between 0-1024 for your velocity. Be sure to use shielded twisted pair and expect to still have a few counts of error due to noise. You can do some digital filtering in your SmartMotor program if needed.

Note: You will need an analog output with enough current to drive the input, which has a 200ohm in series and a 5kohm pull-up to 5VDC(if you don't have enough current, Red Lion Controls and others offer a converter that would take care of the 0-10 vs. 0-5 problem also).

analog out 0 to 5V = 0 to 1024, it's 1024 is equal no load speed 10400rpm?
What is minimum required current of analog output to Animatics smart motor?

I haven't know that which component website can buy the AD1 option connector.

This may be easier to explain on the phone. Can you call our toll free number to discuss?
