Hi,our system use rs-2323 control smartmotor. Normally, we send RPA ,smartmotor can sent actual position. But some time has interference that cause error code . Smartmotor receive the error code
,then can not communication immediately. Unless we restart power, the communication will return to normal. How can we solve the garbage problem affecting communication?

Make sure you are using good shielded twisted pair cable on the RS232 if you are in a noisy environment. Also, be sure to route the RS232 signals away from any high voltage wiring such as vector or inverter motor power lines.
