PW108 and
PW116
The PW108 and PW116 pushweheels are used to input
data to any AniLink equipped controller. An example could be feed length
and cycle count inputs on a cut-to-length application. The PW108 mounts
up to eight push wheel BCD switches on a single peripheral card, the
PW116 has slots for up to sixteen. These switches have ten positions,
labeled from 0 to 9. Each switch can be sequenced either up or down using
push buttons. Each unit takes up 1 AniLink port address. Every digital
switch is addressed by its own circuit, allowing the integrator complete
control over use within a user program. All switches need not be present
for normal operations. Simplifying panel or console mount applications,
the push wheel switches can be mounted up to 10 feet (3m) from the PW1XX
AniLink card. The PW108 and PW116 are plug compatible with Series 5000
and SmartMotors controllers. Up to eight can be uniquely addressed on a
single AniLink bus.
